Yuri Olentyr launched his first IT project in 2005 when he was 20. In 2008, while completing his masters at the National Aviation University in Kyiv he launched ITX Security, which has became a major Ukrainian IT integrator in the sector of security and monitoring. Since 2009, Yuri has become interested in Bitcoin and blockchain technology. Initially, it looked only like an interesting method for reducing commission for international money transfers for the online advertisement project he was running at that time. However, time passed and in 2013, in addition to ITX, Yuri was also running what has now become part of Glorymine — a company that sells hardware for the mining pools that started to pop up throughout Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, Kazakhstan, Russia and other neighbouring countries. In 2016, crypto was showing tremendous growth potential and Yuri founded DailyCoin — an investment fund specializing in crypto. By the Summer of 2017, DailyCoin had become one of the major closed crypto investment funds in Ukraine. It was decided that the best use for the growingly impressive margin, was founding a blockchain infrastructure project. That is how Paytomat came to be. Paytomat is a set of blockchain software solutions that enables local stores and online merchants to accept payments in cryptocurrencies. As a CEO Yuri is the TOP influencer in crypto adoption of Eastern Europe area and aims to expand it globally.
